What is BS EN 12952-7 - Water-tube boilers and auxiliary installations about?  

This part of BS EN 12952-7 specifies the essential requirements for equipment and protective devices for a water-tube boiler plant as defined in EN 12952-1, to ensure the boiler operates safely within the allowable limits (pressure, temperature, etc.). BS EN 12952-7 mentions the general requirements for steam boilers and hot water generators, additional requirements for plants without manual intervention, and the final inspection of the water tube boiler plant.  

Note 1: Additional requirements especially needed for boilers without manual intervention are specified in Clause 7.

Although these parts may be obtained separately, it should be recognized that the parts are interdependent. As such, the design and manufacture of water-tube boilers require the application of more than one part in order for the requirements of BS EN 12952-7 to be satisfactorily fulfilled.
