What is BS 6068-2.40 Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods about?

BS 6068-2.40 is the 40th section of the multi-series standard that specifies methods and procedures for the determination of borate by spectrometry using azomethine-H.

BS 6068-2.40 specifies a spectrometric method for the determination of borate in water. The method applies to the determination of borate in concentrations between 0,01 mg and 1 mg of boron per liter. The working range may be extended by dilution.

This method described in BS 6068-2.40 applies to potable water, and to ground, surface, and saline waters that are not heavily polluted.

Who is BS 6068-2.40 Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods for?

BS 6068-2.40 on the Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods are useful for:

  • Wastewater collecting systems
  • Wastewater treatment plants
  • Plants treating industrial wastewater
  • Water supply treatment plants

Why should you use BS 6068-2.40Physical, chemical, and biochemical methods?

Spectrometry is the measurement of the interactions between light and matter, and the reactions and measurements of radiation intensity and wavelength.

BS 6068-2.40 provides methods for characterizing water quality based on physical, chemical, and biochemical measures for determining the borate content in water using the azomethine-H with spectrometry method.

BS 6068-2.40 provides you with apparatus, sampling, transport, storage, and preparation of test pieces, preparation of reagents and apparatus, pre-treatment of test pieces, test procedure, and much more.

The test methods and procedures provided by BS 6068-2.40 assist you in the determination of borate in the water and ensure reducing the risk of severe health issues.

With obedience and compliance to BS 6068-2.40, you can enhance the efficacy of the water and manufacture a standardized product
