1 Scope and field of application
This part of ISO 8669 defines terms used in International Standards dealing with urine collection bags; related medical terms are not defined.
The terms do not individually or collectively define or recommend a product of a specific design, style or size.
NOTE If a term has one or more permitted synonyms, the terms are listed in order of preference; deprecated synonyms are followed by the word "deprecated". Alphabetical indexes of the terms in English and French are provided.
