1 Scope

This document specifies the minimum requirements and test methods for Platycodongrandiflorus root.

It is applicable to Platycodon grandiflorus roots that are sold and used as natural medicines in international trade, including Chinese material medica (whole medicinal material) and decoction pieces derived from this plant.
