What is BS EN 13507 - Thermal spraying about?
BS EN 13507 discusses thermal spraying. BS EN 13507 specifies the processing of surface preparation for thermal spraying. Important principles indicated in this European Standard are intended to be taken into consideration when surfaces of metallic parts are to be prepared for thermal spraying. BS EN 13507 applies to the production of new parts as well as for the repair of worn parts.
Note: BS EN 13507 does not apply to thermal spraying in the case of protection against atmospheric corrosion by coatings of zinc and/or aluminium and their alloys, for which EN ISO 20631:2017 and EN ISO 20632:2017 apply.

Why should you use BS EN 13507 - Thermal spraying?

What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 13507:2018 supersedes BS EN 13507:2010, which are withdrawn. BS EN 13507:2018 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 13507:2010. These include:
