What is BS EN 12975-2:2006?
BS EN 12975-2 specifies the test methods to determine whether liquid solar collectors can resist the influence of degrading agents. It defines all the procedures for testing these collectors under well-defined and repeatable conditions. The standard also explains the test methods and calculation procedures to establish the steady-state and quasi-dynamic thermal performance of glazed and unglazed liquid heating solar collections. By following the tests set out within BS EN 12975, the user can prove the durability, reliability and safety requirements for liquid heating collectors.
