What is BS EN 14933 – expanded polystyrene specification about?
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) refers to a rigid, tough, and lightweight thermoplastic product. Note 2: For applications where thermal resistance is required, products with a declared thermal resistance lower than 0,25 m²⋅K/W or a declared thermal conductivity greater than 0,060 W/(m⋅K) are not covered by BS EN 14933.
Note 3: BS EN 14933 does not cover in situ insulation products and products intended to be used for the insulation of buildings, building equipment, and industrial installations or products intended for acoustic insulation.
