PD IEC/TS 60870 is a series on telecontrol equipment and systems. Telecontrol equipment and systems refer to the connection of process stations spread out over a wide area to central control systems. PD IEC/TS 60870-5-7 describes messages and data formats for implementing IEC/TS 62351-5 for secure authentication as an extension to IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104.
