What’s changed since the last update?
BS ISO/IEC/IEEE 16326:2019 supersedes ISO/IEC/IEEE 16326:2009. BS ISO/IEC/IEEE 16326:2019 includes some technical changes with respect to ISO/IEC/IEEE 16326:2009. These include:
- Re-ordered the original Clauses 2 and 4, and added a new Clause 2 to comply with the new ISO document fixed structure requirements
- Moved the process guidelines up in front of the project management plan content requirements to put more emphasis on the process rather than the “product”
- Changed the citation tables in the new Clause 6 to a single column so that the corresponding content is identical to both ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207:2017
- Added references in the applicable guidance portions of the new Clause 6 that point to the more detailed process guidance information in ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-4:2016 a ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-5:2017
- Removed the PMP format requirements from the new Clause 7
