1 Scope
This Part of EN 13414 specifies the information on use and maintenance to be provided by the manufacturer
of wire rope slings.
NOTE Certain clauses are relevant to component parts and accessories conforming to EN 1677 parts 1 to 6
Annex A is informative, and provides some of the detailed information for use and maintenance
which may be appropriate for general lifting service.
The hazards covered by this Part of EN13414 are identified in clause 4.
