- Addition of terminological entries for "container" (3.1), "flexible container" (3.17) and "Mechatronics" (3.18), while former entries for "type A-container" (3.15) and "type B-container" were deleted the addition of a new sub-clause 4.1 "Recommendations" for installation, maintenance, and cleaning of a container
- Alignment of the scope according to 4.1
- Addition of indications in clause 6 on which test methods apply to flexible containers
