ISO 9097 is an international standard on small craft that discusses the requirements for electrical fans to be used on small craft. ISO 9097 specifies requirements and describes test methods for measuring the airflow of fans intended for use in engine compartments, galley areas, and other spaces on small craft in which mechanical ventilation is desirable.

ISO 9097 applies to electrically operated fans rated for less than 50 volts direct current (d.c.). Fans may be of the centrifugal or axial flow type.
