What is ISO 506 about?  

ISO 506 discusses natural and concentrated rubber latex. ISO 506 specifies a method for the determination of the volatile fatty acid number of natural rubber latex concentrate. The method is only suitable for latices from Hevea brasiliensis. 

Note: ISO 506 is not applicable to compounded latex, vulcanized latex, artificial dispersions of rubber or synthetic rubber latices.
