What is BS EN 16882 - Tachographs about?  

BS EN 16882 is a European standard on tachographs that discusses the criteria for increasing tachographs security. BS EN 16882 is intended to provide technical specifications for mechanical seals to enhance the security of digital tachograph systems. BS EN 16882  applies to the category of vehicles as defined in European Regulation n°165/2014. 

NOTE 1: BS EN 16882 is primarily intended for digital tachographs but can be applied to analog tachographs.
