What is ISO 126147 about?  

ISO 126147 is part seven of the multi-series standard on pressure relief valve (PRV) which is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel system component. 

ISO 126147 specifies tests and requirements for the pressure relief valve (PRV), a liquefied natural gas fuel system component intended for use on the types of motor vehicles defined in ISO 3833. 

NOTE- 

ISO 126147 is not applicable to the following: 

  • Fuel containers 
  • Stationary gas engines 
  • Container mounting hardware 
  • Electronic fuel management 
  • Refueling receptacles
