ISO 126143 specifies tests and requirements for the check valve, a liquefied natural gas fuel system component intended for use on the types of motor vehicles defined in ISO 3833.

NOTE-

ISO 126143 is not applicable to the following:

  • Fuel containers
  • Stationary gas engines
  • Container mounting hardware
  • Electronic fuel management
  • Refuelling receptacles

 Who is ISO 126143 for?

ISO 126143 on check valve is applicable to:

  • Manufacturers of LNG vehicles
  • Manufacturers of check valve
  • Vehicle regulatory authorities

Why should you use ISO 126143?

Good quality fuel system components are very important for the efficient functioning of an LNG vehicle. ISO 126143 gives you guidelines for the construction of check valve. these guidelines include the materials to be used and the method for assembly of those materials. This will help you manufacture durable fuel system components.

ISO 126143 provides marking instructions on check valve, these markings will help in identifying and tracing check valve.

ISO 126143 provides tests to check the hydraulic strength and leakage of check valve. When performed these tests will help you in measuring the strength of the check valve.

What’s changed since the last update?
