What is ISO 882013 about?

ISO 882013 is part 13 of the multi-series standard that specifies fuse-links with tabs (blade-type) Type P (sub miniature three tabs) for use in road vehicles. ISO 882013 establishes, for this fuse-link type, the rated current, test procedures, performance requirements and dimensions.

ISO 882013 is applicable for fuse-links with a rated voltage of 32 V a current rating of ≤30 A and a breaking capacity of 1 000 A intended for use in road vehicles.

ISO 882013 is intended to be used in conjunction with ISO 88201 and with ISO 88202. The numbering of its clauses corresponds to that of ISO 88201 whose requirements are applicable, except where modified by requirements particular to ISO 882013.

Who is ISO 882013 for?

ISO 882013 on fuse-links with tabs (blade type) type P (sub miniature three tabs) is useful for:

  • Road vehicle manufacturers
  • Manufacturers of fuse-links
  • Designers of fuse-links
  • Automotive engineers

Why should you use ISO 882013?

ISO 882013 specifies the rated current for fuse-links with tabs (blade type) type P (sub miniature three tabs). This will help you test the input/output characteristics measurements of the fuse-link.

ISO 882013 provides instructions for marking, labelling and colour coding that will help you identify and trace the fuse-link.

ISO 882013 provides tests and requirements for breaking capacity, current steps, the strength of terminals and cable size.

ISO 882013 establishes dimensions for fuse-links with tabs (blade type) type P (sub miniature three tabs).
