What is BS 7582:2021 about?

What’s new about BS 7582:2021?
This is a technical revision of BS 7582:2005. The standard was updated to reflect current lock technology and to update and improve the clause on marking and labelling. A number of unnecessary clauses on the condition of the safe have also been removed from BS 7582:2021, such as on exterior paintwork etc.
BS 7582:2021 contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure and Goal 12 on responsible consumption and production.
