What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 50119:2020 supersedes BS EN 50119:2009+A1:2013. BS EN 50119:2020 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 50119:2009+A1:2013. These include:
- Requirements for urban mass transportation systems are included
- Requirement for rigid overhead contact line (ROCL) are included
- Clearances and geometry of overhead contact line are improved
- Urban aspects are added, e.g. wall anchors
- Monitoring devices and automatic earthing and short-circuiting equipment are included.
