Successful delivery of construction projects is of vital concern to a wide range of people, from the architects, contractors, commissioners, government and the public at large.
BSI has published PD 6079-4:2006 Project management. Guide to project management in the construction industry.
This guide is intended to encourage and improve the use of project management in the construction industry. It is relevant for all projects involving constructions of buildings including:
- new building work
- civil engineering works
- mechanical and electrical infrastructure works
- energy and process plants
- projects involving the repair and maintenance of buildings
