What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 12281:2002 supersedes DD ENV 12281:1997, which is withdrawn. BS EN 12281:2002 includes some technical changes with respect to DD ENV 12281:1997. These include:

- Table 1 "Requirements for copy paper" includes now more precise data
- The procedure for the "determination of cutting quality" was exchanged and replaced by a practical procedure
- The transformation from a European Prestandard (ENV) in a European Standard (EN) is intended
