What is ISO 10726 about?
ISO 10726 is a standard that serves technical specifications for dimensions and mechanical strength of portable chainsaws, specifically chain catchers. ISO 10726 specifies the mechanical strength and dimension requirements, and the corresponding test method for the chain catcher of chainsaws.
ISO 10726 test temperature operates within a range of –25 °C ± 3 °C, unless the chain catcher, its fastenings and the saw body are of metal, in which case the test may be conducted at room temperature.
