BS EN ISO 21302-2:2019 supersedes ISO 89862:2009. BS EN ISO 21302-2:2019 includes some technical changes with respect to ISO 89862:2009. These include:
- The symbol of general properties, and additional properties has been added
- The type, and size of tensile sample ISO 5274(1B type test) has been modified to ISO 20753 (A1 or A2 type test)
- The type, and size of the relative permittivity, dissipation factor, volume resistivity and surface resistivity samples have been modified from ≥ 80 × ≥ 80 × 1 to ≥ 60 × ≥ 60 × 2
- The type, and size of the electric strength sample has been modified from ≥ 80 × ≥ 80 × 1 or ≥ 80 × ≥ 80 × 3 to ≥ 60 × ≥ 60 × 1
- The type, and size of the water absorption sample has been modified from 50 × 50 × 3 or ø50 × 3 to 60 × 60 × 1
