BS EN ISO 11296-7:2019 supersedes BS EN ISO 11296‑7:2013, which is withdrawn. BS EN ISO 11296-7:2019 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN ISO 11296‑7:2013. These include:
- Thermoplastics has been added as a separate seam sealant material category
- The thickness range has been removed
- The requirement for Modulus of Elasticity has been lowered to reflect the current state of the art
- In Clause 6, ISO 10467 replaces EN 14364 as a normative reference for GRP saddles
- ISO 13262 replaces EN 1979 for tensile testing of a locked seam
