What is ISO 6588‑1 about?

What is changed since the last update?
BS ISO 6588‑1:2020 supersedes ISO 6588‑1:2012. BS ISO 6588‑1:2020 has some technical changes. These include:
- Addition of the last four paragraphs in the Introduction to clarify the differences, in the role and mode of addition of a salt solution, between ISO 6588‑1 and ISO 29681
