What is ISO 1514 - paint testing panel standards about?

What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN ISO 1514:2016 supersedes BS EN ISO 1514:2004. BS EN ISO 1514:2016 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN ISO 1514:2004. These include:
- The preparation by zinc-phosphate and chromate treatment, chromate conversion coating and acid chromating, was deleted
- The following materials have been amended: coil-coated panels, plastics panels, glass-fibre reinforced plastics composite panels (GRP), carbon-fibre reinforced plastics composite panels (CFP)
- The former Annex B on the characterization of zinc and zinc alloy coatings has been deleted
- A new Annex B on common substrate panel has been added
- The normative references have been updated
