BS EN 50341-1, the main standard for overhead lines designed for AC 45 kV and above, has been written essentially as a ‘stand-alone’ document, except in so far as reference is made to other Standards. The NNA for any country (which is normative for that country and informative for other countries), amends, where necessary, parameters or practices quoted in the main body to values and methods used in the country.
So, for overhead lines for use in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, BS EN 50341-1 and BS EN 50423-3-9 should be used.
