Why should you use ISO 14490-5 ?
Telescopic sights, often called “scopes,” are small telescopes mounted on top of the firearm that help magnify the target to take accurate shots, even at longer ranges. However, these scopes have a lens coating that improve the transmission of light to reduce glare.
With ISO 14490-5, manufacturing the right telescopic systems with improved image for the user also helps increase eye relief- the distance between the scope and the user’s eye and scope. This prevents being hit in the eye by the recoil of the gun.
