BS EN ISO 12718:2008 defines terms used in eddy current testing.
In addition to terms used in English and French, two of the three official ISO languages (English, French and Russian), this document gives the equivalent terms in German.
Definitions are given for:

- Terms associated with the measurements made with the eddy current method
- Terms associated with the probes used with the eddy current method
- Terms associated with the equipment used with the eddy current method
- Terms associated with the application of the eddy current method to the product to be tested
- Terms associated with the evaluation of the measurements made using the eddy current method
BS EN ISO 12718:2008 supersedes BS EN 1330-5:1998 which is withdrawn.
