Mobile waste and recycling containers are designed containers fitted with wheels intended to temporarily store waste. They are automatically locked safely into the lifting devices during the tilting and emptying operation.

- The document has been editorially revised, and Clause 3 "Terms and Definitions" added according to the new CEN Internal Regulation Part 3
- Former subclause 3.1 (now 4.1) has been revised
