This document gives rules and guidelines for the preparation of instruction manuals for mobile access and working towers in accordance with EN 1004‑1, Mobile access and working towers made of prefabricated elements — Part 1: Materials, dimensions, design loads, safety and performance requirements.

This document is intended for all parties involved in the preparation of instructions for use, for example: suppliers, technical writers, technical illustrators, translators or other people engaged in the work of conceiving and drafting such instructions for use.
