What is BS 3630-16 – Zinc and zinc alloys about?

BS 3630-16 is a British standard and a part of the BS 3630 series that discusses the nickel in zinc alloys using the photometric method for the sampling and analysis of zinc alloys. Zinc (Zn) is used to make several alloys due to its galvanizing and sacrificial properties. It is historically alloyed with copper to make brass, which contains between 55% zinc and 95% copper.
