What is BS EN 12807 about?
BS EN 12807 specifies the minimum requirements for the design, construction and testing during manufacture of transportable refillable brazed steel Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders, of water capacity from 0,5 l up to and including 15 l, exposed to ambient temperatures.
BS EN 12807 applies only to cylinders having a circular cross-section without any longitudinal joint.
Who is BS EN 12807 for?
BS EN 12807 on Transportable refillable brazed steel cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) - design and construction are useful for:
- Manufacturers of transportable refillable brazed steel cylinders for LPG
- Petroleum industry
- Design engineers
- Transportation industry
Why should you use BS EN 12807?
If transportable refillable brazed steel cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are expected to do their jobs successfully, they need to adhere to the highest quality standards. This keeps LPG intact and ensures the safety of those around.
BS EN 12807:2019 guides you on design and construction of Transportable refillable brazed steel cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), thus helping manufacture standardized cylinders. This enables you to ensure protection against any hazardous situation and accidents that may occurs.
