What is BS EN 12807:2009?
BS EN 12807:2009 sets the minimum requirements for the design, construction and testing during the production of transportable, re-usable brazed steel liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. The cylinders specified in this standard have a water capacity of 0.5 to 15 litres and can only be exposed to ambient temperatures. BS EN 12807:2009 applies to all gas cylinders and pressure vessels with a circular cross-section, but without a longitudinal joint.
