What is BS EN 14570 - Equipping of overground and underground LPG about?
BS EN 14570 specifies requirements for the equipping of LPG pressure vessels, overground and underground, with a volume not greater than 13 m3 manufactured in accordance with EN 12542 or equivalent and have been hydraulically tested.
The equipment covered by BS EN 14570 is directly mounted onto the pressure vessel connections. BS EN 14570 excludes the equipping of depot storage pressure vessels and refrigerated storage vessels.

What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 14570:2014 supersedes EN 14570:2005, which is withdrawn. BS EN 14570:2014 includes some technical changes with respect to EN 14570:2005. These include:
- Update of definitions taking into account the terminology document prepared by TC 286 WG11 (tanks replaced by pressure vessels, etc..)
- Amendment A1 September 2006 included in the BS EN 14570: paragraph 5.5.1 modified by the addition of “or” at the end of the a) and b) paragraphs
