ISO 20257-2 describes the specificities of the FSRU BOG handling and recovery system. ISO 20257-2 fulfils the specific requirements for recondenser. The recondenser has two purposes: 

  • Recondensation of the BOG into the sub-cooled LNG stream from LP pumps 
  • Feeding the LNG HP pumps with liquid and providing liquid hold-up capacity between the LP and HP pumps 

ISO 20257-2 states the functions of HD and LD compressors. ISO 20257-2 assists the user with combined vaporizers and ambient air vaporizers.
