1 Scope
This European Standard specifies requirements for industrial steel ball valves having
flanged, threaded, socket welding or butt welding ends.

The PN and Class ranges are:

This European Standard applies to steel ball valves mainly used for industrial and
general purpose applications. However, they can be used for other applications provided
the requirements of the relevant performance standard are met.
