What is BS EN 62271-1 about?

What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 62271-1:2017+A1:2021 supersedes BS EN 62271‑1:2017, which will be withdrawn on 20 June 2022. BS EN 62271-1:2017+A1:2021 edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
- New numbering in accordance with ISO/IEC directives, Part 2 (2016) and IEEE Std. C37.100.1.
- The technical specifications and terms are added. Some technical specification changes done
- New subclause added for manual operated actuators.
- Some tests were removed because the relevant test standards of IEC 60068 series were modified or withdrawn.
- The acceptance criteria for X-radiation testing are modified to recognize higher rated vacuum interrupters.
- Former informative Annex H removed, new Annex J (informative), new Annex K (informative): added
