What is BS EN 438-4 – Compact laminates about?  

BS EN 438-4 is the fourth part of an international standard used for high-pressure decorative laminates (HPL). BS EN 438-4 helps in classifying and characterizing these compact laminates which are useful in maintaining the surface clean, hygiene and healthy for end users. 

BS EN 438-4 specifies performance requirements for two types of compact laminates of thickness 2 mm or greater produced by using a high-pressure process intended for interior use.
