What is ISO/TS 21805 - Vents to safeguard structural integrity about?  

ISO/TS 21805 provides guidance on fulfilling the requirements contained in ISO 6183:2009, and ISO 14520-1:2015, in respect to over and under pressurisation venting and post-discharge extract. 

ISO/TS 21805 provides the design, selection and installation of vents to safeguard the structural integrity of enclosures protected by fixed gaseous extinguishing systems and the post-discharge venting provisions where used. 

Note: ISO/TS 21805 does not provide the information necessary to determine all the requirements related to the design, installation, service, maintenance, inspection, test, and/or requalification of fire suppression systems.

ISO/TS 21805 provides guidance for limiting pressure extremes in an enclosure during the discharge of a clean agent fire extinguishing system. ISO/TS 21805 Provides you with two performance considerations: Pressure management within the protected volume during the period of extinguishant discharge, and Retention of the extinguishant-air mixture within the enclosure for a specified period after the completion of the discharge.  

ISO/TS 21805 you will be able to analyse that an enclosure may require additional pressure-relief vent area in order to avoid exceeding specified maximum pressure values upon discharge of a gaseous agent system.
