BS ISO 12647-6:2006 Graphic technology. Process control for the production of half-tone colour separations, proofs and production prints. Flexographic printing
BS ISO 12647 specifies a number of process parameters and their values, for preparing colour separations. It can be used for four-colour printing or when producing four-colour prints by:
- Heat–set process
- Sheet-fed process
- Continuous forms of process printing
- Proofing for one of these processes
- Offset proofing for half tone gravure
BS ISO 12647-6 is applies to:
- Publication flexographic printing including
- magazines,
- catalogues
- commercial materials
- packaging
- flexographic printing including labels, boxes and flexible packages
- Half-tone and continuous tone proofing processes that predict the colorimetric results of flexographic printing.
