BS EN 12758 refers to the laboratory measurement method described in EN ISO 10140-1:2016, Annex D, and defines extension rules that can be applied without further testing.

BS EN 12758:2019 supersedes BS EN 12758:2011, which is withdrawn.
BS EN 12758:2019 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 12758:2011.
These are:
- The calibration procedure has been removed and reference is made to EN ISO 10140-1:2016, Annex D
- Extension rules have been expanded
- The table with typical performance data has been extended
- An annex on the characterization of PVB interlayers has been added
