BS EN 572-4 is a European Standard. BS EN 572-4 is the 4th part of the Basic soda lime silicate glass products series that discusses drawn sheet glass. BS EN 572-4 discusses scope, references, terms and definitions, dimensional requirements, thickness, tolerances and much more in detail to ensure accuracy.

BS EN 572-4 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 129 “Glass in building” the secretariat of which is held by NBN.

BS EN 572-4 specifies dimensional and minimum quality requirements (in respect of optical and visual faults) for drawn sheet glass, as defined in EN 572-1:2012, for use in building.

BS EN 572-4 applies only to drawn sheet glass supplied in rectangular panes and in-stock sizes. EN 572-8 gives information on drawn sheet glass in sizes other than those covered by this BS EN 572-4.
