What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 13618:2016 supersedes BS EN 13618:2011. BS EN 13618:2016 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 13618:2011. These include:
- The stress corrosion testing is carried out with ammonium only;
- Requirement and test method for resistance of seat of female fitting are deleted
- In Table 8, specific minimum flow rates and minimum bore diameters are left open
- For testing the pressure jumps resistance, detailed specification for DN and applied test pressure are given
- New test methods for corrosion resistance and UV resistance are introduced
- In Table A.2, the dimensions C are reduced
- In hydraulic performance and durability test, the number of impulses is reduced
- The recommended surveillance testing of specific functional requirements is introduced
