What is BS EN IEC 61756‑1 about?
BS EN IEC 61756 is a series of fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components. BS EN IEC 61756‑1 covers general information on fibre management system interfaces. BS EN IEC 61756‑1 includes the definitions and rules under which a fibre management system (FMS) interface is created. BS EN IEC 61756‑1 also provides criteria to identify the minimum bending radius for stored fibres. BS EN IEC 61756‑1 allows both single-mode and multimode fibres to be used.
