BS EN 61300-2-1:2009 Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components. Basic test and measurement procedures. Tests. Vibration (sinusoidal)
BS EN 61300-2-1 evaluates the effects of vibration on fibre optic devices at the predominant frequency ranges and magnitudes that may be encountered during field service.
Most vibrations encountered in service are not of a simple harmonic nature. However, it has been shown that tests based on vibrations of this type are satisfactory to simulating actual service.
