BS EN 61300 European standard is a series of fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components. BS EN 61300-3-28 is a multi-series standard that specifies examinations and measurements of transient loss.
BS EN 61300-3-28 describes methods to measure fast variation of attenuation due to mechanical stresses applied on optical fibres and passive optical components during their lifetime.
