What is PD CEN 14061 about?
PD CEN 14061 is an international standard that discusses solutions for quality checks of fertilizers.
PD CEN 14061 is applicable to the determination of dust potential of solid fertilizer, obtained in the prilling or granulation process. Compacted or crystalline materials were not considered.
PD CEN 14061 gives guidance about terms, abbreviated terms, definitions, technical symbols, statistical symbols, calculation of the spouting bed apparatus, initial testing, conclusive ring test, sample preparation and other test methods for determining dust content of fertilizers.
Note: PD CEN 14061 does not cover dust particles that cause reduced visibility in the air are too small to measure.
