1 Scope

This document specifies a test method for the verification of the delay time accuracy of electric detonators, non-electric detonators, surface connectors and detonating cord relays.

This document applies only to electric detonators, non-electric detonators, surface connectors and detonating cord relays that are part of a delay series.

This document does not apply to electronic detonators, shock tubes and electronic initiation systems.

NOTE    For a test method for the verification of the delay time accuracy of electronic initiation systems with electronic detonators, see EN 13763‑27:2025.
