What is PD CEN/TR 16931-6E-invoicing Testing about?  

The adoption of e-invoicing within the EU would lead to significant economic benefits. PD CEN/TS 16931 is a series that discusses standards for electronic invoicing (e-invoicing). PD CEN/TS 16931‑6 is a part of multi-series electronic invoicing that describes the methodology used for testing at a semantic level and at the syntax level. PD CEN/TR 16931-6 contains the results of the testing. 

PD CEN/TS 16931‑6 establishes the essential information elements needed for an electronic invoice to ensure legal (including fiscal) compliance. It is a technical document and provides information on a number of tests carried out by CEN/TC 434 on BS EN 16931-1. 

PD CEN/TS 16931‑6 describes the semantic testing, the syntax testing and testing of the validation artefacts that represent EN 16931-1 and the test results. The testing of the validation artefacts will ensure they can be used to automatically check conformance with EN 16931-1.
